Gage Ross · Kansas City, Missouri
I build Python data workflows, JavaScript applications, and reporting tools for municipal operations, with skills in SQL, GIS, and Power BI.
Featured projects
Case study · GIS & planning workflows
Two browser-based workspaces for exploring multi-year infrastructure scenarios, coordinating related work, and reviewing the effects of planning changes.
I defined the planning workflows and domain requirements, then iterated through AI-assisted development and targeted QA.
Read case study & try demoAI & geospatial workflow
Assist identification of crosswalk features from geospatial coordinates and image data instead of relying entirely on manual review.
Designed and developed a Python processing workflow with external API data, concurrent and batched processing, caching, restart-safe execution, structured logging, error handling, and structured output for downstream analysis.
Technical specialties
I connect application development, API-driven data workflows, and reporting for public-service teams. My work spans Python automation, JavaScript tools, Power BI dashboards, and support for field and fleet systems.
